It is highly unlikely that the tree behind us is the same one Grandpa and Grandma posed beside on their honeymoon a century ago, but it could be. Redwood trees live for a very long time, over 2000 years in most cases.
One living tree in the Sierra Nevada Mountains is named The President. It is estimated to be 3200 years old.
