The last day in Greece I intended to post a wrap-up, but when I logged into the WellWaterBlog site I got this message…

I had no idea what it meant, but the words “critical” and “error” in the same sentence did not sound good. I tried the usual things to remedy the problem…
- Swear,
- Reboot,
- Press random keys to see if the issue goes away,
- Swear again,
Nothing. As a last resort, I carefully reread the message. I checked my e-mail to find the promised “instructions”. There were none.
5. Swear again ……Lying Biatch!
There was a link to something called “support forums” in the error message, so I clicked that. What popped up was a bunch of techno gobbledygook. I didn’t understand a word of it ….
“Blah, blah pechorganorgis dongle source. Wintrow the reboot popsnorkel, if that doesn’t work try morganizing the slipwhistle.” Or something to that effect.
There was another link in the error message… “Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress”, but I didn’t bother to click it. If “support forums” was incoherent, what good could come of “learning more”.
6. Give up.
Which is what I did. We were on the marathon journey home described in my last post and I was frazzled. I wasn’t having much luck coming up with a satisfactory conclusion to the Greece adventure anyway, so the website being down turned out to be a convenient excuse for not writing one.
The critical error saved me from writing (and you from reading) a post prepared while in a state of …
… Monkey Mind.
“Monkey mind” is a Buddhist term describing a restless, unsettled, and distracted state of mind, where thoughts jump from one idea to another like a monkey swinging through trees. It represents mental chatter, anxiety, and a lack of focus, often leading to emotional instability and difficulty in staying present. Taming this state involves mindfulness, meditation, and compassion rather than forced control. – Wikipedia

When we got home, I called my tech team. They had the “critical error” problem solved in minutes.

Glad to hear your kids could help you out! I only assume this is who you spoke to as we turn to our children (specifically the youngest) when we have “issues”.

The kids are my usual “go to” but those little monkeys weren’t around. I had to find professional help for this one.
