The world just got a little saner. Our daughter Riley achieved her master’s degree (Counselling Psychology) yesterday.
Riley is shifting her career from teaching to assisting young people with their academic, social, and emotional development. Riley’s future clients are lucky to have her mentorship.
Wikipedia describes the characteristics necessary to be an effective psychologist as:
“Empathy and compassion, analytical and critical thinking, communication and interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and the ability to maintain ethical and professional behavior…”
… Nailed it!
I had difficulty finding photos with just Riley in them, which is not surprising since she attracts so many people into her circle….
