Riding the Sky on a Lawnmower

When I sold my Cessna in June, I assumed I had made the last entry in my logbook.  Today, my lawnmower came to the rescue, and I have another hour of flight to add.



Ignore the clouds, the trees, the mist, the sky, and the sunrise-lit foothills, and focus your attention on the finely mowed grass in the foreground. 

Gervais wanted to subdue some gnarly undergrowth in his yard, so he borrowed my diesel mower to do it. The old Kubota performed well, and Gervais showed his appreciation by presenting me with a flight certificate from the local glider club.



Bear and Gervais came out to witness and record the event.
