Lincoln, Montana
This cabin, 8 miles south of Lincoln, Montana, was once occupied by a Harvard Mathematics professor.
The retired professor spent 25 years at the remote cabin without electricity or running water. He would occasionally bicycle into Lincoln for supplies, or to visit the library, but was otherwise reclusive. Residents found their neighbour a little odd, but they respected his chosen lifestyle. The professor spent his time reading books, writing essays, and honing his wilderness survival skills.
He also developed a hobby, making lethal explosive devices
Ted Kaczynski would mail his home-made bombs to Universities and Airlines across the United States, earning him the title, The Unabomber.

My brother Kevin owns a cabin in the remote Moose Mountains in southeast Saskatchewan. Who knows, if the Unabomber had found what he was looking for, they could have been neighbours
